Michelle Hood // My Story from Singularity50 is Henry Is a Robot!

Favourite quote: 'Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day I can hear her breathing.' - Arundhati Roy

Michelle Hood is a former architect with a background in humanities and literature from the Open University. She has written for Passage Magazine ACM, researching and learning about Asian history and culture whilst living in Singapore and although she has a passion for the past, spends most of her time writing about the future. ‘Henry..’ was one of three stories shortlisted for the Singularity50 and her first introduction into the short story category. Now a certified addict, her short story writing has continued at an exponential rate and she plans to publish an anthology of shorts sometime in the not-too-distant future...

As well as writing speculative drama, which she boldly dreams will one day have a following in the order of Billions (Netflix original) she has plans to revive two decades of archived material and somehow spin it into gold! If only her two children could use a typewriter… !
